Faults of W-E direction are dominant over N-S, NE-SW, and other directions. The older faults have direction W-E.The some direction have got distinctly oriented veins of dolerites. Main direction of Lužice overthrust (tectonic line)is NW-SE. But in W part have characteristic arched line in the map and in tectonic diagram, also.Younger faults cuttings of Lusatian overthrust shows strong fluctuation of the directions. Tertiary volcanites intruded along faults of diverse orientation but dominantly by NW-SE direction.
