Abstrakt (anglicky)
   The Kuriskova U-Mo deposit from the Gemeric Unit of the Western Carpathians (Slovakia) has been studied in detail. Genesis of this deposit is polygenetic: endogenic related to magmatism/volcanism and exogenic associated to precipitations of meteoric hydrothermal fluids over repeated tectonically driven (fold & thrust and shear zones) channel ways through the Permian Huta volcano-sedimentary complex. Sources of U-Mo mineralization are combined: a) molybdenite was derived directly from juvenile hydrotherms related to magmatic/volcanic rocks, b) U-mineralization come from meteoric fluids precipitating altered and metamorphosed mafic-felsic volcanics (effusive and extrusive basaltic and rhyolitic products) alternated by clastic sediments (sandstones, mudstones and claystones) that in arid to humid climate interacted with organic and carbonate substances within the Permian basin. The principal ore forming minerals: uraninite, coffinite, molybdenite, apatite rare orthobrannerite and powe
   llite were identified there. Two basic mineralization forms: a) tabular - "stratiform like" and b) stock-work intraformation and/or dislocation stock-works in shear zones are present in the Kuriskova U-Mo deposit. Re-Os molybdenite dating confirmed magmatic/volcanic source in massive veins mineralization during the Upper Permian (Lopingian) time between 257.2 ? 3.0 Ma and 255.6 ? 3.7 Ma, whereas superimposed U-remobilization within shear zones occurred in the Triasic/Jurassic period. The Kuriskova deposit is characterised as typical polygenetic endogenic/exogenic hydrothermal U-Mo deposit of the Permian/Paleo-Alpine age, having sources of metals in the Permian volcano-sedimentary rocks that were leached by meteoric fluids within tectonically driven shear zones.
