Abstrakt (anglicky)
   The paper discusses the very first results of HypSo project. At the very first stage we were able to obtain satisfactory reflectance HyMap data and to process the poly-thematic field data together with the field/spectroscopic data. First results showed, that the hazardous material rich in weathered lignite and heavy metals (As, Hg) could be distinguished from spectrally similar soil material rich in humus. To study the pioneer vegetation, the species, which showed a rather good separability, were selected. The first relationship between the biochemical and elemental composition of spruce foliage and the forest soil chemical properties was established.
