Abstrakt (anglicky)
Microporosity represents one of the basic properties of substances, which are based on organized carbon. their solid phase forms with the micropores a slef-existent physical system, which we have called "microporous phase". The microporous phase is characterized by the continuity of structure at the signifocant, even extreme changes of state and this structure remains preserved even under chemical changes of the solid phase as a skeleton. As parameters characterizing the microporous phase the radius mode rmode and the characteristic energy E were applied, the deviation of steric arrangement from the regular gemetric formation was expressed by the fractal dimension D. Gravimetric sorption analysis gave us the possibility of discerning between the both sorption processes - adsorption and absorption. Absorption represents here the dissolution of molecules of gases and vapours in the solid phase.
The knowledge obtained was applied in the real system coal/methane, which is of considerable energetic, safety and ecological importance. A deeper knowledge concerning especiall the kinetics of methane release and the replacement sorption of methane with carbon dioxide was obtained
