| Abstrakt (anglicky) | | | | Five 3rd-order depositional sequences of the Carpathian Foredeep Basin were recognized within its Neogene infill. Individual sequences are characterized by typical basin shape, extent, depositional architecture and lithofacies, that is by the various roles of the principal ruling factors. 4th-order depositional sequences (transgressive-regressive cycles) and their systems tracts were identified within these five stages.
