Abstrakt (anglicky) | | | Two associations of basic to intermediate intrusive rocks are present within the Bavarian part of the Kdyně igneous complex. Cumulus rocks (ultramafic to leucogabbroic) prevail in the intrusions of Všeruby and Neukirchen. The parental melt was high-alumina basaltic. The rock association of the Teufelsberg intrusion bears features of the massive type anorthosites. Leucogabbros and leucodiorites are present instead of true anorthosites. Presence of ferrodiorites, scarcity of ultramafic rocks, and local enrichment of ilmenite and apatite are additional features of the massif-type anorthosites. The composition of the assumed parental magma is tholeiitic and different from the parental melts of massif anorthosites. There are indications that high-alumina basaltic magmas also contributed to the rock association of the Teufelsberg intrusion. The gabbros and leucogabbros are cumulates of plagioclase, clinopyroxene, and olivine.
|
| Melting and assimilation of plagioclase has modified the composition of some of the diorites. Crystal fractionation played a minor role in the development of the rock series. The magmatism of the Kdyně intrusive complex was triggered by the rifting of Gondwana in the Lower Cambrian
