Abstract (in english)
   A varied complex of Neoproterozoic effusive and intrusive rocks, pyroclastics and subordinate marine clastic sediments is located in the marginal SE segment of the Central Bohemian region. The typical features of the volcanic belt are: (1) polycyclic development of magma chemistry from basalt to Na-rhyolite and vice versa, (2) strong prevalence of lavas over pyroclastics, (3) penetration by feeder dykes and subvolcanic granite bodies aligned with the belt. The above features suggest that deep fracturing and/or rifting mainly controlled the volcanism. The volcanic belt was involved in the Cadomian orogeny, oncl. dynamic metamorphism. The Palaeozoic development is considered in context of the Ordovician - Devonian (?) cycle of sedimentation in the adjoining SE/SW area, showing indication of rifting and volcanism controlled by the same zone of deep-seated faults as the Proterozoic volcanic belt
