Abstract (in english)
   This article brings information on the chemical composition of titanite-malayaite group minerals. Special attention is paid to the influence of these minerals on the Sn content in the rocks, especially skarns and calc-silicate rocks of the contact metamorphic origin. These rocks are commonly sources of significant Sn anomalies due to their increased Sn contents, reaching economic values (6% SnO2). Results of chemical examinations of minerals as well as previously published data are summarized here. It as been found that the titanite contains up to 2.2% SnO2, whereas in the case of malayaite the TiO2 content can be much higher, up to 7.6%. As titanite is abundant in the marginal parts of skarns and calc-silicate rocks, the high Sn content can be attributed to the presence of this mineral CaTi(SiO4)O
