Abstract (in english)
Assemblages of plant microfossils recovered from two cores in northern Bolivia reveal close affinities to other western Gondwana sites as well as to the eastern Laurentia. Selected samples are evaluated, which span the latest Silurian-Lochkovian to Early Carboniferous time interval. Palynomorphs from the Tequeje, Tomachi, and Toregua Formations were investigated. An Umbellasphaeridium saharicum bioprovince can be considered as a possible evidence of repeated mutual plate-tectonic interaction between north American Appalachian region and southern America's Central Andes
