Abstract (in english)
Time, temperature, coal moisture, grain size and coal rank have been examined as main parameters influencing low temperature (natural) oxidation of coal. Method of pulse flow calometry was used to determine heat evolved by chemical interaction of oxygen with coal. Obvious differences in behaviour of subbituminous and bituminous coals regarding to effects of grain size and moisture content on oxidation heat was observed. Attempts to explain these behavioral differences are presented
