Abstract (in english)
A pair of circumbilical muscle attachment areas is described in Bucanopsina gen.n., based on Bucanopsis calypso Perner, 1903 from the Middle Ordovician of Bohemia (Barrandian Area). The position and shape of the areas confirn that the genus Bucanopsina, superficially resembling Grandostoma Horný, 1903 and Bucanopsis Ulrich et Scofield, 1897, belongs to the gastropod Superfamily Bellerophontoidea. Functional morphology, systematics and mode of life are discussed
