Abstract (in english)
   Five generations (types) of garnet (Grt I-V) have been distinguished in a skarn body in Vlastějovice, Moldanubicum, Central-Eastern Bohemia, Massive "garnetites", forming, together with clinopyroxene (Di 7-54) the main constituents of the skarn body, are composed of one to three successive generations of Mn-Mg-poor hydrous grandites (Grt-I-III), differing in colour, chemical compositions and structural relations. The oldest garnet I, a colourless (OH,F)-bearing ferric grossular (Grs 79-87), contains 0.8-1.2 wt.H2O. It represents a relic of the early metasomatic stage.
