Abstract (in english)
A specimen of Neurodontopteris auriculata (Brongniart) Potonié with well-preserved cuticles was found in the Stephanian B from the Intrasudetic Basin, Czech Republic. This species has been usually described by different authors under the generic names Neuropteris Brongniart and Mixoneura (Weiss) Zeiller. Taxonomic analysis allows to identify this specimen with the type of the form-genus Neurodontopteris Potonié. Neurodontopteris auriculata has amphistomatic pinnules. Adaxial and abaxial cuticles are very similar. Both of them possess trichom, sunken cyclocytic stomata with papillae on subsidiary cells
