Abstract (in english)
Palynological analyses of samples from the boreholes Měnín 1 (depth 473.0-477.6 m, situated 13 km SE of Brno) and Němčičky 6 (depth 5181.0-5184.5 m) provided sparse but well-preserved palynomorphs. Recovered microfossils (Acritarcha, prasinophytes, vendotaenids, and rests of metazoan origin) indicate marine environment of the analysed sediments and the Early Cambrian age for the terrigenous clastic complex. These sediments occur stratigraphically between the metamorphic crystalline complex of the Brunovistulicum and palaeontologically evidenced Devonian. Distribution of Archaeodiscina umbonulata Volkova 1968, based on a complete synonymical list, is plotted in the palaeogeographical reconstruction for the Early Cambrian
