Abstract (in english)
   The first part of the project included collection of geophysical, lithostratigraphical, and geochemical data. The new database comprise profiles and co-ordinates of the structural boreholes and oil and gas wells, production tests, geochemistry of gases and formation waters. New structural map of gases and formation waters. New structural map of the crystalline basement in 1:200 000 scale and series of geophysical maps and profiles have been generated. Recent biostratigraphic and biofacial research has contributed to better understanding of the paleoenvironments and ages of the Flysch Belt basins. Structural measurements on the outcrops are evaluated in the paleo-stress analysis in the Magura unit. Source rock studies were aimed at thermal maturity and hydrocarbon potential. Several partial lithostratigraphic units have been characterized as good, moderate and poor source rock.
   Burial and thermal histories along the borehole and seismic profiles were modelled using basin analysis software. They show the complicated hydrocarbon generation and migration processes which occured in the Flysch units and the foreland
