Abstract (in english)
   This paper presents a geomorphological analysis within the catchment area of tributaries for the larger Río Lloqueta, Cordillera Chila, Peru. A geomorphological investigation is a part of an overall research made by the Charles University in this longest source segment of the Amazon. Results provide the initial insight into the development and specific features of the landscape, as well as the spatial extent and volume of modern glaciation. The analysis suggests that the catchment area has undergone very intensive relief development, that continues presently. Numerous morphological processes that reflect erogenic dynamics as well as climatic conditions affect the relief development of this area. Pleistocene climatic variations are recorded in the glacial landforms, which were examined throughout the landscape. According to observations, the glaciation was much more extensive during the past time extending far beyond the catchment area.
   Interpretations suggest that glaciers in the catchment area experienced very rapid retreat in the second half of the 20th century
