Abstract (in english)
   There are still missing individual chamical and technological parameters, which would characterize oxihumolite as single material. The characteristic of oxihumolite is still based upon same parameters as coal. Available chemical and technological data were used to characterize raw coal and weatehered coal (oxihumolite) from the Vršany brown coal mine (the North Bohemian Brown Coal Basin, Czech Republic). It has been found that relationships between some of the chemical and technological parameters and the grade of oxihumolite at the Vršany mine mine be applied to the classification of all brown coals from the North Bohemian Brown Coal Basin. Thus, the results of this work bring a relatively simple method which can be used to distinguish oxihumolite from coal having the same ash content using common chemical and technological parameters
