Abstract (in english)
A complicated time correlation between a morphologically prominent mountain range uplift, intensive acid terrestrial volcanism, Variscan pluton emplacement and extensive clastic flysch and molasse sedimentation during the uppermost Devonian and Carboniferous in Moravia is documented in this paper. Consequently, the emplacement of Variscan plutons can be dated indirectly from manifestations of surficial volcanism
