Abstract (in english)
   Carbon-carbon composite cylindrical shells reinforced with carbon yarn braid were manufactured. The porous material was densified with various precursors of secondary carbon matrix. By measuring the longitudinal and tangential elastic moduli by a resonat frequency technique the gradual stiffening was monitored. The influence of the braiding angle and of the processing parameters (heat treatment, densification and impregnant type) upon the composite shell elasticity was discussed.
