Abstract (in english)
The deposit belongs to the Šumava branch of the Moldanubian crystalline region. It is a member of the Variegated group of Český Krumlov and of the graphite-bearing belt of Hořice na Šumavě and his structure of Krumlov. The only main layer is a tectonic wavy lens and his strike is generally N-S and the dip is 40° to W. Beside the graphite we found paragneisses, erlans, marbles and the dykes of durbachite character. The thickness of the main graphite layer is about 3,5 m and the deposit has a content on the average 17,4 % C. The reserves of the raw material are nearly 0,6 mil. tons in the depth about 200 m. The graphite deposit is a graphitic gneiss with mixed graphite-fine grained fine flakes 0,1 - 0,2 mm) up to amorphous graphite. Prospecting: E and EM geophysical methods, 9 test pits with cross cuts, core drilling (11 bore holes). With discontinuities 1976-1991). We would have use the adits from W or E for development and for underground mining.
The outcrop parts can be mined in open pit
