Abstract (in english)
   The current methodological developments are carried out over three demonstration mining sites: the Sokolov lignite open-pits (Czech Republic), the Mpumalanga coal field of South Africa and the Makmal gold mine (Kyrgyzstan). This paper shows the development carried out over the Czech site, were two HyMap hyperspectral surveys have been performed (2009 and 2010) and one thermal AHS survey (2011). It focuses on mineral, vegetation and change detection mapping.
