Abstract (in english)
The Svinov-Vranová crystalline unit (SVU) separates two different Palaeozoic units in the NW part of the Drahany upland. The SVU is composed by the garnet mica-schists with intercalations of garnet amphibolites, quartzites to quartzite gneisses, marbles and graphite rocks. SVU corresponds to the Olešnice group of the Moravicum according to litology. The region underwent a polyphase metamorphism. The rocks were metamorphosed in the amphibolite facies conditions in the earlier phase. This stage was followed by a retrograde metamorphism in the greenschist facies. The temperature of metamorphism has been estimated around 600°C
