Abstract (in english)
   New research of skarn minerals confirmed a complicated development of skarn of the studied region. Determination of REE in various types of skarns confirmed a partial influence of Variscan granitoids on pre-variscan skarns. The skarns in the western and central Krušné hory Mts. are of pre-Variscan skarns of the central Krušné hory Mts. Developed in four stages, the third of which was marked by topomineral retention of sulfides. The variscan skarns were influenced by the Krušné hory pluton and they differ relations to the main intrusion complexes. Granites of the older intrusive complex (OIG) caused the genesis of skarn horizons with silicates and rare magnetite. Granites of the younger intrusive complex (YIG) brought about only a local skarnization of silicate rocks.
   The deposit at Měděnec mine area has been described as a type skarn deposit and it is characterized by the association of magnetite with pyroxene, garnet, amphibole, epidote, chlorite, chalkopyrite, pyrite and some other rare minerals
