Abstract (in english)
The Moravo-Silesian Lower Carboniferous flysch deposits called the Culm are of a large extent forming the Drahany, Nízký Jeseník and Zlaté Hory Uplands. A zone of isolated tectonic structures (substantially klippes) built up of the Devonian and Early Carboniferous volcanic and sedimentary rocks was ascertained in the central part of the whole Culm area. The zone with the length of about 120 km is termed the Moravo-Silesian klippen zone and it is supposed to be a scar after the Devonian-Early Carboniferous marine rift basin with volcanic elevations. In the Nízký Jeseník Upland, the Moravo-Silesian klippen zone is prevalently situated at the boundary between two Culm nappes, in the Drahany Upland its position has to be solved
