Abstract (in english)
Type specimens of four species of the subfamily Recurvoidinae originally described by Hanzlíková (Haplophragmoides imperfectus Hanzlíková, 1966! Recurvoides gerochi Hanzlíková, 1972! Recurvoides godulensis Hanzlíková, 1973! and Recurvoides variabilis Hanzlíková, 1973) are reillustrated and revised herein. A set of criteria is here established to more precisely describe the modes of coiling, and growth rate of the chambers observed within the Recurvoidinae. Of the four species described as new by Hanzlíková, only imperfectus and variabilis are here regarded as valid. Additionally, the erection of a neotype for Cyclammina globulosa Grzybowski, 1896 by Hanzlíková (1972) is rejected in accordance with the rules of the ICZN. The latter species is here regarded as nomen dubium.
