Abstract (in english)
   Ottnangian, Karpatian and Lower Badenian sediments were studied in the map sheets 1 : 25 000 Blansko (24-322) and Tišnov (24-321). This region was very interesting for the scientists in the 19th century, many papers originated in the last century. Ottnangian sediments are represented by fluvial and limnic sandy clays, sands and sands with clay and gravel layers. They were rather micropaleotologically reduced, only redeposited Cretaceous foraminifers and clasts of sponge spicules were found. Two Karpatian samples of silty clays consist of relatively rich marine shallow water fauna with euryoxybiont taxa (for example Ammonia beccarii (L.), Porosononion granosum (d'Orb.), Nonion communae (d'Orb.), Hanzawaia boueana (d'Orb.), Hansenisca soldanii (d'Orb.), Pappina brevifonnis (Papp & Turn.), P. primiformis (Papp & Turn.), Uvigerina graciliformis Papp & Turn etc.).
   Lower Badenian sediments are represented by calcareous silty clay (,,tegel") with very rich and good developed marine microfauna of Lenticulina echinata zone sensu Cicha et al. (1995) - Lenticulina cultrata (Mont.), L. calcar (L.), L. inornata (d'Orb.), L. calcar quadrilobata Molčíková, L. vortex (Ficht. & Moll), L. similis (d'Orb.), Planulana moravica (Karr.), P. dentata (Karr.), P. cf. lanceolata (d'Orb.) etc. with local rich planktonic species (Praeorbulina ex gr. glomerosa, Orbulina suturalis Brb'n., Globigerina bulloides d'Orb., Globigerinoides quadrilobatus (d'Orb), G. trilobus (Rss.), G. cf sacculiferus (Brady), G. bisphericus Todd etc.). The planktonic forams document good communication of the gulf with open sea. The assemblages of forams are also shallow water such as species Ammonia beccarii (L.), Asterigerinata planorbis (d'Orb.), Cibicidoides ungerianus (d'Orb.), Heterolepa dutemplei (d'Orb.), Hanzawaia boueana (d'Orb.), Elphidium crispum (L.) etc.
   Lithological change on the line Dolní Loučky - Tišnov (W-E) - Hradčany - Čebín (NW-SE) also corresponds with stratigraphic change (Ottnangian/Lower Badenian) and these results can show on neotectonics movements. There are the blocks of different erosional levels in the studied area. We can suppose that the Karpatian transgression practically was such extensive as the Badenian one in the studied region
