Abstract (in english)
   Pilot samples were collected from 23 localities (8 Middle Devonian localities, 15 Early Carboniferous localities), detailed sampling was done in three localities (Slavoňov, Újezd u Boskovic, Jesenec). The samples were subjected to progressive thermal demagnetization (131 samples). The rocks are very low, low and medium magnetic. The principal carier of the Variscan overprint magnetization component is pyrrhotite for the localities of Slavoňov, Lesní lom, Jesenec, Černá Hora and titanomagnetite with a wider spectrum of unblocking temperatures (Šošůvka, Jedovnice, Křtiny, Olšany, Mokrá). Haematite is contained in some rock samples from the locality of Slavoňov (primary magnetic component from the locality Slavoňov (primary magnetic component). Fine-grained magnetite is a carrier of primary magnetization component for the limestones of the localities of Chudčice, veveří, Lesní lom, Bedřichovice.
   The magnetization of the Early Carboniferous limestone from the locality of Újezd u Boskovic is carried by minerals with a wider spectrum of unblocking temperatures and haematite. All 8 Devonian localities and only 9 Early Carboniferous localities show properties suitable for palaeomagnetic investigations. The primary palaeomagnetic magnetization components of the Devonian age were found in some samples from localities of Slavoňov, Stínava, Skalička, Chudčice, veveří and Lesní lom. The primary magnetization components of the Early Carboniferous age were separated in some samples from the locality of Újezd u Boskovic
