Abstract (in english)
The present day reduction of mining activity on territory of Brno-city and its surrounding follows with successively devastation of the persisted outcrops. The temporary outcrops, mostly the groundpits for the buildings of smaller objects, were rapidly dissapear also cannot could be systematicaly documented and their geological or archeological research were rescued or registered, respectively. This ground documentation of the temporary outcrops but has a certainly significance as a basis for the paleogeographical considerations. In present contribution we attempt a paleogeographicaly significance of few localities of the postbadenian gravelsands outline, they were temporary outcroped in recently time. Within premises of the hospital in Černá pole deluvial redeposited gravelsands was outcroped. They, in a primeval deposition, have probably made a part of so called Tuřany terrace.
Lithological character of pebbles from this gravelsands indicates the Svitava-river provenance and this fact can be suggested as an undirect evidence for splitting of the Svitava-river in level of Tuřany terrace. The so called Husovice terrace represent probably the best documented low morphostratigraphical level of the Dyjskosvratecký úval (basin) at all. On the new locality in Vojkovice two late Middle Palaeolithic artefacts were found in their superposed loess cover. Their position in succesion of strata is comparable with other well known localities of Dyjskosvratecký úval (basin)
