Abstract (in english)
Raman spectrometry is applicated to funeral jewels from the grave of unknown Barbarian German prince (from the archeological collection of the Moravian museum in Brno). Scabbard contains valuable gemstones - red garnets with solid microscopic inclusions. Two new garnet types were identified, the red one with rutile needles and the rarest orange garnet with black irregular graphite and colourless crystals of zirkon, all originating from India.
