Abstract (in english)
   Cordierite minerals with comparatively high Fe-content have been found in hornfelses of contact metamorphosed denudation remnants of Proterozoic and Early Paleozoic pelitic sediments in the Central Bohemian Pluton area. Their composition fluctuates from 42.0 to 58.3 molof Fe-component and most of them exceed the 50limit. According to IMA rules, they must be classified as sekaninaite. Special chemical composition of host rocks characterized by unusually high Al and Fe contents and by lowered Mg abundances are responsible for the origin of high-Fe coexisting ferromagnesian silicates - cordierite minerals and biotites.
