Abstract (in english)
   The presented thesis deals with slope deformations of the Labe River Valley in the České Středohoří Mts. A special attention is paid to the main locality of Čeřeniště Village near the town of Litoměřice. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to the understanding of the origin and mechanism of deep seated slope failure that resulted in slope deformations which appear to be most interesting ones in the České Středohoří Mts. Deep fossil slope deformations of Čeřeniště Village are combined with shallow slide movements in their frontal section and represent a complex slope failure form. To understand the mechanism in the development of slope failure under similar geological conditions, data about the most significant slope deformations in the České Středohoří Mts. were collected.
   Moreover, also some localities outside this region were included like those where characteristic volcanic intrusions of the Tertiary penetrated sediments of Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, or those of Slovakia with similar geological setting
