Abstract (in english)
   The study was performed in following soil types on different type of parent materials: Chernozems (loess), Luvisols (loess and loess loam), Cambisols (orthogneiss and paragneiss)and Phaeozems (loess). Depending on type of pedogenesis, the soil porous systems exhibit different shape factors, different pore-size distributions that are mono- or multimodal with random or hierarchical distribution of pore sizes. The sizes and shapes of pores affecting soils hydraulic functions are affected by coatings and infillings. The ratios of differnt pore domains were estimated based on micromorphological studies. The soil water properties reflected the pore-size distribution studied using the images analysis as well as the stability of the soil structure.
