Abstract (in english)
   The Teplá-Barrandian metabasites and the Moldanubian metapelites of the the hoher-boden-Rittsteig area are characterized by a multistage evolution of deformation and metamorphism. Fabrics of early deformation stages are only preserved as relics. Former high-grade metabasites of the Teplá-Barrandian unit underwent intensive retrograde shearing along the Variscan Hoher-Bogen shear zone. Structural and kinematic investigations indicate ductile, top-to-the-NE oblique-slip normal faulting. Similar extensional movements are documented in the low-grade metapelites of the adjacent Moldanubian unit. Here, a prograde low-pressure high-temperature metamorphism and related partial melting started during the ductile normal faulting and lasted until the end of the extensional deformation. Crustal extension led to the exhumation of Moldanubian migmatic gneisses and the northeastward tilting of the overlying Teplá-Barrandian rocks
