Abstract (in english)
Sediments of the Mohelnice Formation (? Devonian - Lower Carboniferous) contain rare ichnofossils. The majority of their finds come from small disjunct Mírov "Culm" blocks located in a broader vicinity of Městečko Trnávka. During this study the following ichnotaxa were determined: Nereites ichnosp., Chomdrites cf. intricatus (Brongniart) and Dictyodora liebeana (Geinitz). The ichnossils compose an assemblage which corresponds probably to Nereites ichnofacies typical of anoxic deeper-water and low-dynamic sedimentary environments. The forms involved are to a great extent identical to those of the Moravo-Silesian Culm and of Thüringisch-Fränkische Schiefergebirge Culm in Germany. The ichnoassemblages of the Mohelnice Formation, together with the sedimentologic features of the rocks, correspond to environments typical for the Variscan flysch basins
